Letter to Gideon Howard [manuscript], 1785 December 10.

Bryant discusses in detail his daily schedule of studying the classics and teaching, and reading books on travel and religion in the reading. He also expresses his desire to coin a word in the English language and has decided on "ineluctable." He mentions that a Mr. S. P. has coined two words. Authors whom he is reading include Virgil, James Cook and Humphrey Prideaux.
